Lisa Tempesta Appointed Team Director for 2027 Winter Deaflympics

We’re proud to share that Lisa Tempesta has been appointed Team Director for the upcoming 2027 Winter Deaflympics in Innsbruck, Austria.

Selected by the USA Deaf Sports Federation (USADSF) Board, Lisa will serve alongside Treasurer John Skjeveland, Winter NSO Chair Elizabeth Mathews, and Committee Member Justen Burns to guide preparations for Team USA’s participation in this global event.

Lisa brings years of leadership within USDSSA and a deep commitment to Deaf athletes and winter sports. She’s eager to help shape an unforgettable Deaflympics experience for our athletes and community.
